Zealty is now the first Canadian real estate app inside ChatGPT. Ask ChatGPT what is for sale on the Westside, what condos sold in Burnaby last month, or what the median price looks like in Coquitlam, and the answer comes back with live MLS data sourced directly from Zealty. There are 21,033 active listings across Metro Vancouver right now at a median of $1,149,000, and you can now explore every one of them in a normal conversation.
This is a milestone moment for Canadian homebuyers. Real estate is the largest financial decision most families ever make, and the tools that support that decision have lagged behind the AI tools people use every day for everything else. We are closing that gap.

Until now, asking ChatGPT about Canadian real estate gave you generic, often US-skewed answers. Median prices were rough national averages, property tax explainers defaulted to American rules, and neighbourhood guides quietly assumed you were buying in Phoenix or Austin. For a buyer in Surrey or North Vancouver, that is not useful.
BC has the most expensive housing market in the country and some of the most complex rules. Property Transfer Tax thresholds, the Speculation and Vacancy Tax, the Empty Homes Tax, strata depreciation reports, the foreign buyer ban, GST on new homes, the flipping tax, the first-time buyer exemption. None of that translates from generic AI training data. You need a tool that knows BC specifically and works off live MLS data, not stale snapshots.
Zealty was already that tool on the web. Putting it inside ChatGPT means buyers can ask in plain language and get the same depth of data we have always offered.
Start a new conversation in ChatGPT, mention Zealty, and ask whatever you would normally ask a real estate professional. A few examples that work out of the box:
The answers include real MLS listings with live prices, days on market, and direct links back to the full property pages on Zealty. Sold and expired data is available once you sign in, the same as on the website.

The Canadian real estate data landscape has always been fragmented. CREA's national feed is restrictive, regional boards publish in different formats, and most consumer apps fall back to the same handful of fields. Buyers end up bouncing between four or five tabs trying to compare a strata building's history, a neighbourhood's price trend, and a specific listing's pricing chart.
ChatGPT is the most-used AI assistant in the world. Bringing Zealty into it means a buyer who is sitting on the couch on a Saturday morning can think out loud, get back specific BC homes that match, and follow the link straight to Zealty to schedule a viewing. The friction of "open a tab, learn a new search interface, build a filter set, refine it again" disappears.
It also matters that the answers stay grounded in real MLS data. ChatGPT does not invent listings or guess at prices. Every result is a real property pulled live from the same data feed that powers Zealty's Metro Vancouver search and the Metro Vancouver housing market page.

When ChatGPT answers a property question through Zealty, you get a clean card view of each listing: address, price, bed and bath count, square footage, days on market, and a thumbnail. Tapping through opens the full property page on Zealty with the pricing history, sold comparables, assessed value, strata details if applicable, and our AI-powered home valuation and market rent estimation tools that have been used by thousands of BC buyers to gauge what a home is actually worth.
For market questions, you get the same numbers we publish on the Zealty stats pages. Active inventory counts, median prices, median price per square foot, median days on market, all sliced by property type when you ask for it.
Setup takes under a minute, and the very first time uses a slightly different flow than every chat after it.
Before you can mention Zealty in a chat, you need to install and authorise it once on your ChatGPT account.
Once Zealty is installed, mention it inline in any conversation. Type @Zealty in the message box, then ask your question in plain language. For example:

You can also ask a real estate question naturally without the @Zealty prefix. If your account has Zealty installed, ChatGPT will often route Canadian property questions to it automatically.
If you have a Zealty account, sign in inside the connector when prompted to unlock sold and expired listing history. Active listings and market stats work without an account.
The ChatGPT Apps platform is rolling out across ChatGPT plans in stages. If you do not see the App Directory yet, it may not be enabled on your account or region; check back as OpenAI continues to expand availability.
This launch is the consumer-facing front door of a larger platform we have been building. The same connection that powers the ChatGPT app also runs on Claude and any other AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol. If you are technically curious, our companion article on the Zealty MCP server walks through the developer side.
Over the next few months you can expect more capabilities to land inside ChatGPT directly. Saved searches and listing alerts so you can ask "tell me when a new 2-bedroom under $700,000 comes up in Mount Pleasant" and have ChatGPT notify you. Side-by-side comparisons across multiple homes. Deeper neighbourhood profiles. Strata building research from our 14,000+ building Strata Browser.
Geographic coverage expands too. Zealty already covers the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Victoria, Kelowna, and most of British Columbia. ChatGPT support tracks that footprint, and we are working to bring more provinces online as we secure the data partnerships.
Open ChatGPT, ask about BC real estate, and let Zealty do the rest. Or go straight to our map search if you prefer to draw your own polygons and sort by price-cut percentage. Both surfaces hit the same live MLS data. Both give you the most complete picture of the BC market available to a consumer today.
