Large 12,913 sq ft (0.30 acre) lot with R5 zoning in desirable Departure Bay. Ripe with potential for future development under the current zoning (buyer to verify permitted uses with the City of Nanaimo). A long roundabout driveway leads to a 1956 mid-century 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom rancher with steady updates over the years, including roof and windows, electric heat, a newer hot water tank and a new front porch. Take in ocean and coastal mountain views. Just a couple of blocks up Bay Street from Departure Bay Beach, one of Nanaimo’s premier beaches. Close to recreation, shopping, amenities, parks, trails, Sugarloaf Mountain and all levels of school. A location that is hard to beat. Currently tenanted, showings with notice. Measurements are approximate, buyer to verify if important. (id:60457)
