One of the most stunning waterfront properties is now available for the first time! Welcome to 5041 William Head Rd, your private 3-acre oasis with your own beach and amazing views, tucked between Taylor and Weir Beach. This 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom home offers a rare combination of natural beauty, privacy, character and direct ocean access in one of Metchosin’s most spectacular settings. Inside the main home, built in the early 1990s, you will find generous living spaces, a sunroom, bedrooms positioned to take advantage of the views, and a full-height unfinished basement offering storage and future possibilities. It also connects to an original cabin the family’s grandfather brought to the property decades ago, which is now providing additional living space and a wonderful connection to its history. Outside, this home truly comes alive. Wander through three acres of mature fir, pine, maple, oak, arbutus and cedar, past the peaceful pond and down to your own private stretch of shoreline. Launch a kayak from the beach, relax on the oceanfront patio and take in sweeping views across to the Olympic Mountains. Whales, seals and loons are regular visitors offshore, while quail, hummingbirds, herons and eagles are part of everyday life here. The grounds are fully fenced and incredibly private, with a long, rolling driveway creating a wonderful sense of arrival. A detached garage sits amongst the trees, while an original well pump house adds another reminder of the property’s long history. Municipal water, natural gas, septic, radiant hot-water heating and 200-amp electrical service provide the conveniences you want without taking away from the peaceful rural setting. Held by the same family for more than 100 years, this is much more than a waterfront home — it is a true Vancouver Island legacy property. Private, peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet within easy reach of Greater Victoria, opportunities like this simply do not come along very often. (id:60457)
